Two days down, four to go. The Fort Lauderdale Major is really hotting up and on Thursday the battle to reach the elimination matches goes down to the wire.

Which games should you see? Well, that’s why we’re here to help! Here’s three matches you can’t afford to miss as the men’s pool play comes to it’s dramatic close. You can also check out the full schedule right here for Thursday!

Who? Kantor/Losiak v Sørum/Mol

When? 12 noon EST

Where? Court 2

Why? Two of Europe’s most talented teams go head-to-head to earn a place in the last 16. The Poles are desperate to claim their first Major Series gold and looked in great shape when beating the Grimalt cousins of Chile on Wednesday. However, the young Norwegians could be the dark horses of the tournament. They made light work of Mexican Olympians Ontiveros/Virgen on Tuesday. This has the makings of an epic.

Who? Alison/Bruno v Brouwer/Meeuwsen

When? 1pm EST

Where? Court 2

Why? Talking of epic matches, does it get better than this? This game is a rematch of the classic 2016 Olympic semifinal. Brazilians Alison and Bruno went onto claim gold on the Copacabana while Dutchmen Brouwer/Meeuwsen went on to claim bronze. It’s the first meeting of the two teams since that memorable semi in Rio – but which way will the score go here in Florida?

Who? Evandro/Andre v Gibb/Taylor Crabb

When? 2pm

Where? Red Bull Beach Arena

Why? World Champions Evandro and Andre, who won silver here last season, started their Fort Lauderdale adventure with a straight sets win over Tuesday’s qualification heroes Perusic/Schweiner. To secure a place in the last 16 they face Americans Jake Gibb and Taylor Crabb, who edged a three-set thriller against Belgians Koekelkoren/van Walle.

You’ll be able to watch all of these matches live on BeachStream – it’s the only way to keep your eye on every game during the tournament, so sign-up now!
