Thousands of people in the 4,000-person stadium and thousands more outside on the beach witnessed the absolute dominance of Brazil today. Alison and Bruno came out on a mission with extreme focus and incredible ball control - which finally got them the USD 100,000 prize purse and the title World Tour Finals Champion. They controlled the pace of the game from the first serve, never looking back. Phil and Nick never hit their usual stride with Lucena struggling to side-out and both Americans lacking some of the usual tenacity and steady play that has served them so well this year. USA earned a silver medal in today’s match with the final score being (21-13, 21-15).
