Women’s Pool A Results
Americans Lauren Fendrick and April Ross won an energetic 3-set match against the Spanish team of Liliana and Baquerizo this morning (21-11, 19-21, 15-9).
This huge win propelled them into bracket play and placed them 2nd in pool A. Meanwhile the German team of Ludwig and Walkenhorst defeated the Brazilians Agatha and Barbara in straight sets (21-17, 21-19). The Germans will move on directly to the semifinals on Saturday. Quarterfinals are scheduled for 2PM EDT.
